Film your steps, then intros and summaries. After each session, remember to photograph the end result in a consistent style!
Tips to remember
- Try not to overwhelm your learners with too much information at one time. Try to give them all the information they need to complete a step, with no more than 1-2 action points at a time.
- Always try to give context and meaning to what you’re doing. You can do this briefly in your action-mode clips and give more detail in your selfie-mode clips.
- Remember you can always include more detail in the supporting notes if you feel it will give your learners a better understanding of what they’re learning. If you do include extra information in the supporting notes, make sure to mention it in one of the steps so that you can direct your learners to check it out!
- Don’t forget to take still promotional photographs throughout and at the end of each session.
