Your workshop will consist of 3-5 sessions, each taking the form of a practical, hands-on session.
Each session should allow the learner to achieve one or more of your milestones through direct hands-on experience, combined with your guidance and explanation.
Think about what practical activities will best allow the learner to progress through your milestones. These will form the basis of your sessions.
Here are some tips to bear in mind before defining your sessions:
- Each session should have a natural end-point.
- Every session needs a compelling hook – the learner should be excited to do each session before they start.
- Your workshop's first session should be particularly satisfying to break through the learner’s “I can’t do this” barrier.
