Instead of thinking about your potential audience as a crowd of unfamiliar faces, try to build a mental picture of one learner. Have a think about these questions:
- What are they like?
- How old are they?
- What gender are they?
- What’s their skill level?
- What are their goals? (to get better at their hobby, to eventually start their own business etc.)
If you feel like you know your usual customer audience quite well, but creating online courses is a new part of your business strategy, have a think about what might make the particular branch of your audience interested in learning with your products distinct from the rest of your audience.
